Instrumented Subsoil of Sense-City
Two campaigns for the detection of buried objects using ground-penetrating radar were carried out at Sense-City with the teams from the GeoEND laboratory (GERS department). The subsoil of Sense-City was equipped with a probe to characterize humidity gradients in order to improve detection accuracy during the second campaign.

In 2023, new experiments will implement the groundwater table height adjustment features on the Sense-City platform. These experiments will aim to characterize the actual humidity gradients according to different water table heights. This data will make it possible to suggest ways to improve the accuracy of underground detection by ground-penetrating radar.
